About Yasanina and Kismet

Yasamina has been studying danse orientale since 1972 and teaching since 1976.

Thousands of dancers have studied under Yasamina. As co-director of Kismet, she produced Utah’s 28th annual belly dance festivals, 23 concerts and hundreds of clinics in the past 30 years.

She was many dancers’ first teacher, inspiring them to continue the art of danse orientale along with producing 91 Meeting of the Tribes, 23 annual spring concerts and hundreds of dance clinics the past three decades.
